The people who live, work, and raise families on our island are the heart and soul of Nantucket. Yet more than one-third of year-round residents face food insecurity, forced to choose between food, rent, and other essentials. We believe access to nutritious food is a basic human right and essential to dignity, belonging, and every person's ability to contribute to island life. No organization can solve this alone, but together we can. Nourish Nantucket brings together nearly 20 food programs and partners working as one community to ensure every neighbor is nourished, because the magic of Nantucket begins with a nourished community.
